About UsWe are a family of five from Perth, Western Australia who have made the journey to Nairobi, Kenya, following the heart of God. Our names are Anthony, Fiona, Zoe, Pippa and Lucy. We have lived in Nairobi since August 2014.
What are we doing? Our hearts are to serve the people of East Africa in a practical down to earth way. We want to help the people we meet to live abundant lives both in the natural and the spiritual.
One of our main roles is serving as the regional facilitators of Southern Cross Association of Churches in East Africa, a relational network for pastors and other Christians in the market place. We feel privileged to be able to walk and journey with them. We believe that God has called us to be dream builders. This means that we want to hear their hopes and dreams and walk with them as they fulfil what they are called to do. We aim to do this in 4 ways: Encourage | Enable | Equip | Empower
We are excited to see what God is going to do in us and through us in our role with Southern Cross. We feel blessed to able to partner with what God is doing in this nation through these wonderful people.
How did we get here? Our journey officially started with our trip to Mozambique, where we attended the Iris Harvest School of Missions in Pemba. We got to hear from many missionaries who are totally sold out for Jesus and live what they preach. We were inspired, imparted to, prayed for and prophesied over. It was at the school that we realised that we were ruined for our old way of life and desperately wanted to take God's love to the nations.
Our hearts are for Kenya (and have been since before we were married). It was in Mozambique that we felt led to finally make the move towards going to Kenya as a family and finding out what God has for us there. We never really know what God has in store for us from day to day, but we know that when God is involved that it is going to be absolutely astounding and better than anything that we could possibly imagine. |
