After the Great Ocean Road it was time to get home so Fiona could fly out to Kenya. We knew it was going to be a big trip so we got too it! We finally made it home on the 24th of March 2014 !!! We made it home a lot dirtier, a bit older (nearly 8 months) and hopefully much wiser. We were on the road a total of 227 days, we crossed 311 train tracks, drove 25,781 kilometers and used 4,690 liters of diesel. We made heaps of friends and countless memories. It was a trip we will remember forever! Thank you to everyone we met along the way, it wouldn't have been the same without you all.
We don't regret for a second, anything we did along our trip. We loved every second of it and we have memories that will last us a lifetime. We have an amazing country with changing landscapes around every corner. If you have even an inkling to explore it we suggest you go, you will not be disappointed! We suspect that this will not be our last trip around this great country we call Australia, but for now we have a whole world of new adventures ahead of us. Signing off for now! Cheers Anthony, Fiona, Zoe, Pippa and Lucy XOXO

The Great Ocean Road was ... well ... Great !!! Fiona and Pippa went for a helicopter flight over the Twelve Apostles which they thoroughly enjoyed. It was time to make a mad dash back to Perth !!!
It was time to head back to Monbulk to hang out with the van Bremen's. This time we stayed on their property overlooking the Yarra Valley. William and I had a ball. He took me out sailing on Lake Eildon, we drank a "little bit" of wine and we did a bit of work around the farm ... sorry about the tractor William !!! We could have spent a lot longer here enjoying the company of Will and Merryn, but Fiona was heading off to Kenya for a weeks visit. Thanks Will, Merryn and kids for being such great friends and being so hospitable!
